Various Artists - HELP(2)
HELP(2) is a brand new collaborative album, inspired by the landmark 1995 release 'HELP', which brings music lovers together in support of War Child's vital work delivering immediate aid, education, specialist mental health support, and protection to children affected by conflict around the world.
The new album, like the original, speaks to the urgency of the situation for the 1 in 5 children globally living through war today.
Recorded in a single day, the original âHELPâ album raised over ÂŁ1.2 million, enabling the charity to provide vital support to thousands of children caught in the Bosnian conflict, and was hailed as âthe best charity album ever madeâ by critics.
HELP(2) carries forward the spirit of the original âHELPâ album and was recorded (predominantly), thanks to their generosity, at Abbey Road Studios, across one special week in November 2025.
Under the stewardship of acclaimed producer James Ford, HELP(2) features an incredible line-up of contributors including Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, NilĂŒfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Young FathersâŠamongst other musicians, engineers, mixers and producers.
Further heating up as one of the yearâs most anticipated releases, War Child Records today announces that Oasis will feature on the forthcoming âHELP(2)â album in aid of War Child, with a very special inclusion: a stand-alone 7â single enclosed within the gatefold of the vinyl edition and as a hidden track on the double CD version.Â
The band have generously contributed an exclusive live version of the fan favourite, âAcquiesce (Live from Wembley Stadium, 28 September â25)â.Â
Widely regarded as one of the greatest B-sides ever released with the colossal Oasis Live â25 tour resulting in the studio version charting for the first time.Â
This marks the first physical release of a live recording from the Oasisâ record-breaking 2025 world tour, with the recording taken from the final night of their 7-show run at Wembley Stadium.
Oasis previously featured on the original âHELPâ album in 1995, opening the record with âFade Awayâ. Noel Gallagher also contributed as one third of The Smokinâ Mojo Filters alongside Paul McCartney and Paul Weller.
Nearly three decades on from their involvement in the original project, Oasisâ return to the âHELPâ series underscores their enduring support for War Childâs mission to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children affected by conflict.
In addition to the stellar cast of musicians involved, renowned filmmaker Jonathan Glazer and his team at Academy Films generously helmed the Creative Direction for HELP(2), overseeing both the filming and art direction for the project.
All proceeds from this album support War Child UK to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict around the world.
HELP(2) represents hope for children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
It is a testament to the generosity of artists and the music industry for making a positive difference towards securing a safer, brighter future for those children.
Because no child should be part of war.
Ever.
