While The Mission did rise again, phoenix- like, three years later, 'Blue' represented the closing of Chapter 1 of the band's story.
Mostly written and composed in the city of Bath and completed in New York, 'Blue' produced a single in the shape of 'Coming Home'.
For this year's National Album Day 'Coming Home's B- sides 'Perfect Sunrise' and 'Coming Home (Godlike Version)' have been added to the tracklist on vinyl for the first time.
It also comes pressed on a suitably moody 'Drown In Blue' blend effect vinyl.
